Some people have it and some people – are still looking for it. Apparently, Charles Campos is one of those fortunate people who actually has it and his credits and resumé definitely prove it. He’s been in a ton of commercials in the short time he’s been in Los Angeles, and he’s established himself quickly and firmly as an actor who can take on any role comfortably and convincingly.
Charles Campos started out in the French Alps, yes, those French Alps, and enjoyed life in France playing music, singing and snowboarding – remember, he grew up in the most romantic mountains in the world. When he was young he did some theatre and then acted in a short film and that experience cemented his love for the entertainment industry and after that, there was no turning back. He went to college and then decided to make the bold leap to Hollywood and started working in the business after he earned an entertainment certificate at UCLA (University of California at Los Angeles).
Charles has been the face of some totally famous international brands in commercials that have been shown all over the world. Famous names like Nintendo, MTV, Coke Zero, Samsung, Speedstick and Corona Beer have all used Charles’ talent to spread the word about their products. Charles has also been in a music video for one of Japan’s biggest music stars, Ayumi Hamasaki. Even though the two beautiful and talented people weren’t dating, rumors that they were mushroomed and Charles couldn’t walk on any Japanese street without being mobbed by fans.
Charles has been in numerous short films, too. We can’t name them all because there are too many for this space, but we should mention Soliloquy, because he played the lead in that and it won the Best Short Film trophy at the Nice International Film festival.
Charles is concentrating much of his energies on working in feature films. He was the lead character in the comedy Midnite Cabby, and played the lead in the horror movie The Bride, which has done exceedingly well all over the world. He’s currently involved in The Silk Road, a movie that tells the story of the dark side of the Internet and the black market element to it. We’re excited to see it, but then we’ve loved seeing Charles in everything he has done. What ever it is that movie stars have – Charles has it, too.
