The biggest banking scandal in history occurred after confidential information from one of the world’s largest banking organizations, HSBC, was released. The leaked information connects the organization and thousands of its customers to activity involving tax-evasion schemes and money laundering.A prominent agent leaked confidential documents containing details from thousands of HSBC customers in more than a dozen countries, which were immediately turned over to the proper authorities. The agent wanted to expose politicians, celebrities and presidents who were committing tax evasion in order to increase their own personal incomes.
Within the list of these people, Adam Sabbagh shows a bank account with $97 million. Sabbagh’s lavish style is no secret; it is evident on all of his social media. His posts include taking luxurious trips in private jets, buying houses around the world, driving fast cars from Ferraris to Lamborghinis, taking fancy ski-weekend getaways in Switzerland, and most recently, dropping a fortune on horses to compete in his favorite horse-jumping competitions around Europe.
The leaked documents show Adam Sabbagh as currently having three active HSBC bank accounts in Switzerland. At this point, it is still unclear what repercussions Adam Sabbagh will face for being exposed in this scandal and whether he will get away with it or not.
