An Exclusive Interview with popular Rap Artist Justin Case – Rapping Grandpa

Today, we are interviewing Justin Case, whose stage name is Rapping Grandpa. He is a hip hop rap and R&B music artist.

Please tell us something about yourself.

My music is on 180 music apps worldwide and nominated for Independent Music Awards and Indie Music Awards.

 

How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey?

I am now in my 40s. So, in my 20s, I made music and owned urban clothing stores. I have always been hustling and finally started living my dream 2 years ago.

Who are your role models?

My role models are Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kevin Gates, and my dad, who died in 2011.

 

What inspires you?

The underdog comebacks inspire me.

 

Please tell us about what you do.

I own my music, and I do concerts with Boss Money, Natalac, Polo Don Red, and country star Chris Cline who writes for Colt Ford.

 

What’s your most memorable experience?

My most memorable experience is when I sang ‘Taught by My dad’ on the stage dedicated to my dad. He died a horrible death in 2011.

 

Which social media channels work best for promoting your work?

I use Triller, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, and Spotify.

 

What’s your greatest fear?

I have no fear. I have been homeless, beaten, imprisoned for years, shot, and stabbed. And, here I am today.

 

Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?

I wish I understood the importance of registering for royalties at the beginning.

 

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Strategies are that never listen to negative energy and keep going. I am a real rapping grandfather with a message: it’s never too late to live your dream.

What keeps you going when things get tough?

My wife and kids n grandkids keep me going when times get tough. My parents and grandparents didn’t leave a legacy; they just left me. I am the legacy for my kids n grandkids it all starts here with me
