Interview With The Owner Of Bailey Boutique

What was your inspiration for staring your brand/business?

A little over a year ago, I decided to take that leap and start my own business. I was working at a large retail store at the time and had previously worked as a designer in NYC; After seeing firsthand what the fashion industry was really like, I decided it needed to change. I wanted to create something special and something that I could morally stand behind. I wanted all the products to be made here in the United States, handcrafted jewelry and a unique shopping experience for women of all ages.

What is your brands philosophy?

Bailey Boutique is all about American made. This is very important to us. Our clothing is produced in the heart of the fashion district in Los Angeles. All of the jewelry is handcrafted and one of a kind. We want you to find that special piece, whether it’s a little something for yourself or a gift to a loved one. You know that it was made here, helped support the domestic economy and a small family owned business.

What is your greatest achievement so far?

I believe our greatest achievement so far is our overall growth. A year ago Bailey Boutique was just an idea. Today we have hundreds of followers on our social media sites. Every day we continue to grow and it is an amazing thing to watch. This year we have been able to attend local events and festivals as a vendor. We hope to grow into a permanent location that people can visit here in Raleigh.
