A perfect wedding is one of those things men and women from all over the world dream about, and it’s incredibly important to listen to your inner voice and trust your heart’s desires. The wedding is not something you do every other day, and it is only natural that you want it to be just as you always dreamed it would. While some may be afraid that what they pictured in their mind is too complicated, you should still try and organize your perfect wedding.
Find a good photographer
Sadly, many photographers lack inspiration when it comes to taking wedding photos. We have all seen the bride, groom, and their friends jumping at the same time, and those sweet photos of the bride and groom kissing while others cover their eyes. Yes, these are adorable, but they are becoming too ordinary. Find a photographer who is willing to experiment, and you shouldn’t be afraid to make a suggestion and do something innovative. Hug each other tight, take your photographer to the place you both love or another place that is important to you (where you first kissed for example). Such photos will be much more valuable than ‘staged’ ones.
People usually choose to have their wedding receptions in a hotel or a restaurant. This is understandable because this way you don’t have to worry about food or drinks. Sadly, it is also incredibly predictable and plain. Why not choose a strange place to hold a reception and have a truly unique venue? Something like a garden or even an abandoned barn or a warehouse can look amazing on photographs, and will probably cost less than a hotel. You can contact a good catering agency and all this will likely cost you less than you would expect at first.
Choose the right colour palette
Weddings are usually marked by white, which symbolizes innocence, a new life, and new hope; but if everything was white, everyone would be bored to death. This is why you should choose a dominant colour or two and bring as much of it to the wedding and reception as possible. Have centerpieces and decorations in these colours, and you will notice that white is emphasized by these, and vice versa. Emerald, navy, burgundy, grey, gold, and silver all go perfectly with white. Bridesmaids’ dresses, decorations on the tables, your own jewellery and the groom’s shirt or a tie are great choices to add a bit more colour. Adrianna Papell dresses are the best choice for bridesmaid dresses since they are elegant, stylish, and often patterned with beads and sequins.
It’s all in the details, and this is one of the reasons you should pay special attention to details. Delicate decorations are incredibly effective and important: candles in lace covered candlesticks, wicker hearts with your initials hanging from doorknobs or chairs, paper pom-poms you can make yourself and dip in glue and glitter, small mirrors hanging from nearby trees (if you’re having your reception outside)… Glitter, lace, pearls, small notes left for guests which you wrote yourself – all these things will make your wedding truly unforgettable.
Wedding organization is complicated and if you are afraid that it’s going to be too much for you, do not hesitate to ask for help. There are many professional wedding organizers and planners who would be delighted to help you turn your dreams into reality. Don’t be afraid to be a bit ‘weird’ – this is your big day and you are allowed to do whatever you want. The most important thing is that both of you – you and your partner – are happy.
