Alessandro Nori Confirmed To Star In New Gabriele Feature

Alessandro Nori has just signed on to play the leading role of Fabio in the upcoming independent feature Worlds Apart. The comedy is the follow-up to Blue Hollywood for director Francesco Gabriele.

 

Nori, one of the hottest new leading men in Hollywood, was born in Milan and has acted on stage, film and TV for his entire life.

 

Best known for his starring role in Funny or Die’s original series Neighbors, one of the most beloved shows on the comedy website, Alessandro has recently wrapped principal photography of his recurring role in Rain Valdez’s upcoming web series RandomLA. His latest project Guys Reading Poems screened on Saturday at Dances With Films film festival at The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

According to Stage Scene, Nori also “delivered one of this year’s strongest performances” as Ed Reiss in a sold-out production of Torch Song Trilogy, the Tony Award-winning play by Harvey Fierstein.

Alessandro will begin filming Worlds Apart in the fall, in which he plays an Italian man who gets engaged to his boyfriend. In order to come out as gay to his 90-year-old grandmother, he embarks on a road trip across Italy with the two of the them.

Worlds Apart is expected to be released in the summer of 2017.
