Lisa Valerie Kudrow was born on July 30, 1963, in California. She was born to a father Lee N. Kudrow and mother Nedra Stern. Her father worked as a physician while her mother was a travel agent. The youngest of three siblings, Lisa grew up in a middle-class Jewish family in Tarzana.

The actress is married to a French advertising executive Michel Stern since May 27, 1995. They have been together for almost 24 years and will be soon celebrating the silver jubilee coming year. Lisa then attended Vassar College from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. After completion, she joined her father’s clinic and worked as a medical researcher for eight years before landing into the acting gig.
