An Exclusive Interview With Talented Pr/Event Planner Denis Radu
Q.Tell us a little bit about yourself. Your background, education etc. ??
I will soon turn 40, I live in Bucharest, Romania. I graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Tourism Marketing section, the College of Psycho-Pedagogy and I have two MBAs in Tourism.
Q.At what point did you decided to become an artist/blogger ?
I’m not an artist or a blogger, I’m a public figure and I work as PR / PR events, which sometimes overlaps with the influencer area.
Q:How can people find you online and get updates about it ?
I have two Facebook accounts: Denis Radu and Denis Radu PR, and one on Instagram: denisradudenis.
Q.If you could choose, what three actors would you really want to work with?
A cool but difficult question, because I don’t like only 3 actors. On a short list I would put: Daniel Craig, Brad Pitt and Bradley Cooper.
Q:Ideally, where would you like to see yourself five years from now?
I would like to have international contracts and be able to move from Romania. Where? Italy/Firenze, Spain/Barcelona or Holland Amsterdam
Q:To be an established artist/blogger you need to be able to measure your success and build on this. How do you evaluate success within your role?
As in any domain, you need resilience, hard work and seriousness. I built everything I have now in 11 years. Success comes along, but it is something temporary. It is important to be able to stay in the game. This is actually the key.
Q.Thinking back over your career to date, what has been your greatest accomplishment?
There were some important achievements for me together with my partner, Monica Munteanu, namely, the opening of the largest gym in Eastern Europe: Stejarii Country Club, the appearance on the cover of Luxury Magazine, and individually the fact that for more than a year, I moderated a small column in a morning TV show.
But I think the greatest accomplishment of all is not something related to a certain event or measurable, it is much more for me, it is the people I met, the feeling that I was able to help people, to do something that had a positive impact for them, even if it was for a short period of time. It was the way I made them feel.
Talk me through some of your biggest achievements to date. Why were these memorable to you, and how did you achieve them?
I moved to the capital of Romania, Bucharest, in 2009 and I started from scratch because I didn’t know anyone in the fashionable society. In 11 years I managed to have access to the entire market, and the pleasure to cooperate with the biggest stars/bloggers/influencers in Romania. I think I succeeded through perseverance and the luck of being the right person at the right time. The important thing is that this job chose me, and not the other way around
Q:What type of acting role would interest you the most, and why?
If I ever played a role, I’d love to be in a gay movie. Why? Because that’s how I feel.
Q: How do you shut things out?
I try to travel as much as I can to relax and practice theta healing. That’s how I charge my batteries so I can be fit for work again.
Q:Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to sing as a career or just advice about careers in general?
I am not in the position to give any advice, everyone has their own destiny, but people should be honest and true to themselves first and foremost.
