Interview With Multi Talented CEO at Audio Nucleus

Please introduce yourself to our readers?

I am a Entrepreneur and Professional Audio Mixing and Mastering engineer with 13 years experience Mixing and Mastering for Major and Indie recording artists and record labels in over 100+ Countries world wide. I am also a joint CEO at Audio Nucleus (www.audionucleus.com), a search engine for musicians, artists, producers and songwriters. Born in and growing up in New York my entire life has been surrounded by music, with my mother being a DJ and father playing in a band growing up, Its all I know and it was destined for me to make a living in the music industry. Launching Mikes Mix & Master in 2010 made it a reality. I consider myself a caring and compassionate individual who wants to help others succeed, my current titles allow me to happily do this. I have a big heart and love to make people smile, in and out of the studio =)

SntMag:When you decide it’s 1me to make a new record, is that more exci1ng or stressful?

Ans: Working on an ar-sts new record is always exci-ng!

SntMag: How do you shut things out?

Ans: Quiet studio, candle lit and phone on silent mode is how I do it!

SntMag: What’s your mo>o or the advice you live by?

Ans: Keep moving forward =)

SntMag:Who are your inspira1ons?

Ans: Definitely Steve Jobs, he is a genius and I’ve always looked up to him.

SntMag: Which instruments do you play?

Ans: Besides my audio hardware for mixing and Mastering, I do also play the drums.

SntMag : Is your family musical?

Ans: Yes

SntMag: Describe your family member’s musical interests and abili1es.

Ans: My Mother was a popular DJ In Brooklyn growing up and my father was in a la-n band playing the conga.Mostly all of my cousins are great singers as well.

SntMag: What are your fondest musical memories? In your house? In your neighborhood or town?

Ans: Back when I used to make music as an ar-st, I performed for the 1st -me ever in front of all of my family and friends at my birthday party. It was one of the most nerve racking but at the same -me exci-ng experiences in my life!

SntMag : What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous?

Ans: Learn to accept failure and make courageous decisions, life is about just doing it! we learn from our mistakes, remember, failure isn’t failure unless you don’t learn from it. Don’t rush, determination and being patient is key. Make goals and work hard towards achieving them.

SntMag: How do you balance your music with other obliga1ons – mate, children, job?

Ans: There is always a -me for work and play, make sure to make the -me to balance it out. I do so by seNng a schedule for myself.
