Anna Zanders: Stage and Screen

Australian-born Anna Zanders, is an actor appearing on stage and screen across three continents. Her credits feature the anticipated stage production of ‘The Wasp’, the films, ‘Junk’, ‘Cops’, ‘Arguing Sanity’, ‘Hello, Au Revior’, ‘Reunion’, and the CBS Television production of ‘Donal MacIntyre’s Murder Files’.

Born in Albany, a small town in southwest Australia, Anna began her career in acting at the age of seven, performing in local productions.

Pursuing her craft, Anna moved to Sydney where she was cast in the productions of ‘Love’, ‘Golden Age’, ‘Mr. Taylor’s Hat’.

In 2013, Anna studied at The Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles. Graduating as valedictorian from the two-year program at the academy, Anna performed in the theatre productions of: ‘Earthquakes in London’, directed by Milton Justice, ‘The Motherfucker with the Hat’, directed by Chris Thornton, ‘The Jacksonian’,  directed by Tim McNeil, and ‘Top Girls’, directed by Bonnie McNeil.

In 2015, Anna r eturned to Australia to star and produce her co-written film, ‘Reunion’. Courtney Brown directed Anna in the lead role of Sarah.

Anna’s career led her acting journey to London where she starred in the role of Julie Dart, a murdered prostitute in the CBS Production of ‘Donal MacIntyre’s Murder Files’. Anna was also featured in productions for the BBC.

Currently, Anna Zanders is rehearsing for her role in the stage production of ‘The Wasp’. The play by Morgan Lloyd Malcom will be performed in London and Dublin, May – June, 2018.
